Quoted my wife $150 for an ultrasound of the knee when the booking was made. Ended up being charged twice that after the scan was done because "she's over 50, the ultrasound referral was from a GP not a specialist and there's no Medicare rebate", none of which was advised on the phone when the booking was made. This is poor customer service - the customer should be given accurate information about the cost of the service before deciding to go ahead with it. Will be contacting Federal member Garth Hamilton about the Medicare issue (most people don't develop knee problems until over 50 & my wife is a RN/midwife who needs to be on her feet at work) and the need for more radiology service providers in Toowoomba to increase competition and improve outcomes.

Received extremely rude service from Natalie at the reception counter questioning my Medicare card that isn’t even expired or has any issues. Waited for over an hour for them to have just ‘forgotten’ to verify me. My partner in waiting room questioned the wait as I also have another doctors appointment which I have now had to push back and wait another week. He received the most disrespectful attitude from the staff pointer her finger and saying uh wait. Yet the centre is plastered with signage to treat their staff with respect, my partner did not raise his voice once and yet got asked to leave and even followed out to the car park and told to get in our car and ‘fuck off’ by someone else. How on earth is this acceptable? I will never recommend this place and never be returning. This is disgraceful. I am already unwell and have had to take a day of unpaid work for my health to receive this treatment and still pay for my services. We are extremely unhappy with this service received and the antagonising behaviour from the staff all laughing and waiting outside.
